Course Objective

To learn about the methods of risk assessment by defining safety, security, hazard, risk concepts, acquire knowledge and skills in risk management in maritime practices.

1. Comparison of Management Concept and Maritime Companies: Exams and homework / The scope and breadth of the literature utilized in presentations
2. Maritime Companies Functioning: Homework / presentation during the preparation of the interview with Maritime Organization and analysis of the information obtained.
3. Understanding of professional and ethical responsibility: making reference to the care and honesty, compliance with scientific guidelines.
4 Effective Communication Capability: attitude in relationships with colleagues, clear and concise statements, to comply with the rules of courtesy, respect, discussion manners.
5. Team Studies Compatibility: communicate with those from different areas of expertise, solidarity, to make joint working and co-operation, formulate a solution.
