Course Objective

The most common spinal cord injuries, etiology, pathology, to understand, to examine the disease symptoms and problems that may occur secondary to the problem is to determine principles for the evaluation and treatment.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The student knows the basic information about spinal cord injuries.
2   Students learn the application of spinal cordinjuries, current evaluation methods.
3   The student learns and applies evidence-based approach of spinal cord injuries.
4   Student spinal cord injuries, complications, and learn methods of coping with them.
5   Gain knowledge and skills that will allow the winner new applications in the field of spinal cord injury research projects.

6 The complications of spinal cord injuries (skin integrity impairment, respiratory problems, deep vein trombosis, disrefleksia autonomic, cardiovascular problems)
7 The complications of spinal cord injuries(osteoporosis and fracture, heterotopicossifications, spasticity, ortostotic hypotension, hyperthermia, hypothermia, pain)
