Course Objective

To increase knowledge and skills related to assessment and treatment applications in orthopedic problems of hip, thigh, knee, cuff, foot and ankle.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Defines and evaluates orthopedic diseases of the hip and thigh.
2   Plans and performs appropriate physiotherapy program for orthopedic diseases of the hip and thigh.
3   Defines and evaluates orthopedic diseases of the knee
4   Plans and performs appropriate physiotherapy program for orthopedic diseases of the knee.
5   Defines and evaluates orthopedic diseases of the foot and ankle, plans and performs appropriate physiotherapy program.

2 Physiotherapy and rehabilitation in hip arthroplasty
3 Tendinitis of thigh region and physiotherapy Physiotherapy in the Femoroacetebular impingement
4 Physiotherapy in the patello-femoral pain syndrome
5 Physiotherapy in the knee osteoarthritis Physiotherapy in the Osteotomies
6 Physiotherapy in the Meniscus repairs
7 Conservative and surgical treatments and physiotherapy in ACL injuries
8 Conservative and surgical treatments and physiotherapy in PCL, MCL and LCL injuries
9 Physiotherapy and rehabilitation in knee arthroplasty
10 Physiotherapy in the patellar tendinitis
11 Physiotherapy in the Ankle Lateral Ligament Injuries
12 Physiotherapy in the Achilles Tendinitis and after achilles tendon repairs
