Course Objective

It is aimed for the student to gain the ability to use physiotherapy evaluation methods in different clinics and units (cardio-pulmonary, orthopedics, neurology, etc.), to plan and implement a physiotherapy program, and to develop communication skills with patients and other healthcare team members.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Conduct and interpret the physiotherapy assessments and report in orthopedic disorders
2   Conduct and interpret the physiotherapy assessments and report in neurologic disorders
3   Conduct and interpret the physiotherapy assessments and report in respiratory and cardiac disorders
4   Compose and apply tailored physiotherapy and rehabilitation program in respiratory and cardiac disorders
5   Compose and apply tailored physiotherapy and rehabilitation program in orthopedic disorders
6   Compose and apply tailored physiotherapy and rehabilitation program in neurologic disorders
7   Communicate with patient and the family and inform about physiotherapy program
