Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students learning the basics of nutrition and health related fields and to examine the treatment of diseases and medical nutrition can be integrated into physical therapy field.

2   Carbohydrates, proteins, nucleic acids, lipids, vitamins and minerals

5 Vitamins and minerals structure, function, metabolism, the importance of nutrition
6 Enzymes, energy metabolism, hormone metabolism
7 Muscle, nerve physiology and nutrient relationship

9 Metabolic syndrome, medical nutrition therapy in diabetes

11 Cancer and medical nutrition therapy
