Course Objective

The aim of this lecture is to teach the turkish sign language to the Physiotherapist candidates, who will meet hearing disabled patients after graduation, with the object of having at least the basic skills to interact and be able to make their physiotherapy them.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   knows the basic charasteristics of the hearing disability and the turkish sign
2   knows the letters in the turkish sign language and can use them
3   knors to tell about Herself/ himself
4   knows to use and understand the signs for persons in relationship
5   knows to count and understand numbers in turkish sign language
6   knows and can understand vegetables in turkish sign language
7   knows and can understand the days of a week and month name of a year in turkish
