Course Objective

It is aimed to provide knowledge about kinesiology, biomechanics and pathomechanics of the normal locomotor system (lower extremity, spine, gait)

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   At the end of the course students will be able to identify the mechanics and pathomechanics of lower extremity (hip, knee, ankle and foot).
2   At the end of the course students will be able to identify the mechanics and pathomechanics of spine (cervical, thoracic, lumber, sacral and pelvis)
3   At the end of the course students will able to identify movement analysis theories and equipments.
4   At the end of the course students will able to identify gait characteristics, gait analysis methods, the types of pathological gait.
5   At the end of the course students will able to identify spinal stabilisation
