Course Objective

The purposes of the course are to have the students learn the tissue responses in inflamation period and wound healing and gain appropriate physiotherapy approaches.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Know the inflamation process and list its phases, symptom and signs.
2   Explain the wound healing process and physiological events.
3   Know the tissue responses and treatment approaches in soft tissue injuries according to the tissue healing phases.
4   Know appropriate treatment approaches for different wounds.
