Course Objective

This course will give general information about a web page and web site design using HTML, styling by cascaded style sheets (CSS), programming on web using JavaScript and PHP.

1   Have general information about Internet, DNS, Web Server and Database Server
2   Be capable of designing a web site using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
3   Be capable of developing programs in PHP
4   Be capable of developing programs in Java Script
5   Have ability to write browser based programs

The course is taught in a lecture, class presentation and discussion format. Besides the taught lecture, group presentations are to be prepared by the groups assigned and presented in a discussion session. In some weeks of the course, results of the homework given previously are discussed
