Course Objective

Identification of the Drilling Rig, drilling rig types, purposes, to give basic information for a drilling rig

1   Mining drilling to define the machinery and equipment
2   Perceiving, the profession and opportunities of the drilling job
3   Define the types of drilling machines, according to their capacities and goals
4   How to know the basic principles for the use of rotary, and diamond drilling machines
5   To understand the meaning of the drilling muds and borehole tests, in his profession

1 Introduction to the profession of Drilling Technician, The importance of Occupational Health and Safety in the use of workshops/laboratories, work accidents and occupational diseases, precautions to be taken for this and sample practices
2 Rotary machine application(introduction of drilling machines)
3 Rotary machine application (drilling machine equipment introduction)
4 Rotary machine application (well digging operations)
5 The seminar (introduction of drilling sector, companies in deep wells, geothermalcompanies)
6 Diamond Drilling Machines application (diamond drilling machine introductions)
7 Diamond drilling machine applications (diamond drilling equipment trailers)
8 Diamond drilling machine application (digging well with diamond drilling machines, and procedures of the core sampling )
9 Midterm exam+general review
10 Seminar (presentation of drilling and drilling equipment companies)
11 Borehole test applications ( Purposes of the borehole test, and borehole testing equipments)
12 Borehole test applications ( Making of the borehole test, and arrangement of the test forms)
