1   Mining drilling to define the machinery and equipment.
2   Mining drilling to perceive the needs of construction site.
3   Determine the appropriate machinery and equipment to the project.
4   Each formation, appropriate, determine the parameters of progress, to make the design of drilling fluid.
5   By analysis of drilling parameters, material and equipment performance to identify,prepare a report to end well.

1 Introduction to Mining drillings. Opportunities
2 Mining drilling machines, mechanical properties, and new technological developments inthe main units.
3 Mining standards used in drillings. Standard tool series and standard Rods
4 Wireline tools
5 Casing pipes, used in mining drillings.
6 Core barrels and its equipments used in mining drillings.
7 Bits used in mining drilling, and its selection criteria
8 Mine drilling well aberrations, dip and direction measure equipment and bore deflector tools.
9 Midterm exam
10 Mining drilling parameter data entry forms and softwares
11 Drilling wells to determine the parameter analysis and the performance of mining equipment
12 Determine drilling progress parameters and RCM index
13 Well reports and well logs to prepare

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The theory of the subjects will be given course, mine machinery and equipment,machinery and equipment applications in the form of presentation will be made available in the school site. Drilling fluid design, as applied in our school lab will be made of mud. And characteristics of the existing machines in the industry, and related web sites visited and introduced to drilling companies. Companies drilling parameter data collected will be analyzed, interpreted in creating an environment in classroom discussion.
