Course Objective

To recognize and determine physical, thermal, mechanical properties of aggregate. Also be able to know the relevant standards and tests

2   To take a specimens from quarry, to prepare for the test and able to aggregate tests

4 Shape test of aggregate and associated standards
5 Thermal test of aggregate and associated standards
6 Thermal test of aggregate and associated standards
7 Mechanical test of aggregate and associated standards
8 Mid term exam
9 Chemical test of aggregate and associated standards
10 Binders and general properties of binders
11 Production of concrete and concrete classes and quality control of concrete production
12 Fresh concrete tests
13 Hardened concrete tests
14 To evaluate the results of the test and prepare a report

The course is taught in a lecture, class presentation, discussion and field observation format. Lecture gives subject and students discuss and prepare some presentation and all students discuss each other. Additionally all the tests apply in laboratory
