In this course, theoretical lectures in the classroom, examination of hand samples by various methods in the laboratory, observation of basic marble samples and determination of their properties will be covered. While the lecturer is explaining the theoretical part, he will create an environment for discussion with the students in the form of questions and answers, and in the application part, he will provide a good understanding of the subjects by making evaluations on the examples with various methods and guiding leaflets and examples so that the subjects can be better understood.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Assessment Criteria

Mid term exam : %25 Marble concept, examination of the knowledge of the raw material used as marble and bed properties
Assignments : %25 Homework Inspection of the placement of the properties of 25% marble tile samples on the application sheets
Final exam: %50 Final (Semester Exam) 50%: Proof of all learning outcomes
