Course Objective

The main aim of this course is to design with CAD programs, to create tool paths with CAM programs and to be able to master the use of CNC machine. Since it is not enough to know only CAD-CAM programs or to know manufacturing knowledge; Reading technical drawing, manufacturing knowledge, cutting tool knowledge, ability to use measuring and control tools are also the aim of the course.

1   To learn CAD system, Fundemental knowledge on CAD systems
2   To use drawing geometry and CAM control units.
3   To make feature-solid modelling and shape-surface modelling

5   To take photoworks-real apparence
6   To take aspects from plan and nakşng draws
7   To transfer drawings from Autocad programme.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

This course will be taught as demonstrating visual commands in the Computer Lab. The faculty member will create a discussion environment in the form of questions and answers with the students, and the application drawing will be done at the end of each lesson in order to understand the commands described.
