Course Objective

Know their duties and responsibilities as a medical laboratory technician, medical laboratory to train students mastered the routine practices.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Have the knowledge about to "Medical laboratory technician" the definition,roles and responsibilities, professional standards
2   Have knowledge about clinical laboratory practices and workflow
3   Gains theoretical knowledge and practical skills regarding the use of some laboratory instruments (spectrophotometer, electrophoresis, microscope, autoanalyzers).
4   Have the knowledge and skills to accept or reject the samples to the laboratory,handling, transmitting, storing of them.
5   Have the knowledge and skills in routine microbiological analysis.
6   Have the knowledge and skills in routine biochemical analysis.
7   Have the knowledge of the clinical laboratory automation and quality control.
8   Have knowledge and skills about blood bank applications.
