To give information on the importance of animal production and the place in human life and the country's economy of animal products.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to explain the importance of the products obtained and farm animals. 2   Being able to classification of the origins and economically important species. 3   Being able to compare the basic information on the reproductive organs and reproductive activities of farm animals. 4   Being able to associate the concept of animal breeding and animal production. 5   Being able to classification of the basic principles of animal nutrition and nutrients.

Week Subject Description 1 The importance of animal production, animal products, human life, the family-run and the country economy and agriculture, animal production in Turkey and in the world, animals, animal production quantities, animal production problems 2 Taming changes occur, the type and the concept of race, racial classification 3 The biological basis of reproduction, seeding methods 4 Pregnancy and childbirth, breast structure, lactation and lactation curve 5 Factors affecting milk yield and quality of 6 Defination and scope of the animal breeding 7 Mid-term 8 Mid-term 9 Selection and selection methods, training methods 10 Relationship between animal and feed, commodities and energy of food 11 The principle of animal nitrution the share of the life needs and break nutriton 12 Factors affecting the share of life, the needs of 13 The share of the principles of yield in animal nutrition needs (for impregnation, pregnation, growing,fattening 14 The share of the principles of yield in animal nutrition needs (for egg, milk, fleece and labour)
