Course Objective

The aim of this course is to give an understanding of fundamental concepts of financial management, relationship between accounting and finance, risk and return of financial assets.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to identify fundamental concepts of finance and financial management.
2   Being able to estimate current and future time value of money.
3   Being able to prepare corporate budget.
4   Being able to identify the factors affecting corporate cash flow.
5   Being able to prepare proforma balance sheet and income statement.
