Course Objective

Processed gemstones and jewels descend from ancient period, which are the preserved, and exhibited at all museums throughout Turkey would make an investigation for distinguish from current in terms of gemmological and jewelry craft, is aimed.

1   Be able to define meaning of the archaeo-gemology with the main lines
2   Be able to classify ancient gemstones in terms of gemmological.
3   Be able to explain an ancient period lapidary and making jewelry.
4   Be able to compare importance of the ancient products investigation within the law numbered 2863.

All students must attend to the conducted courses with at least 70%. During the course and in the exams, all kind of making a copy are evaluated comprising a discipline crime.
