Course Objective

The aim of this course is to introduce the materials and equipments used in chemistry laboratory, to teach working rules of laboratory and the prevention methods for risk factors encountered in the laboratory to the students.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to identify materials and equipment used in chemistry laboratory.
2   To be able to sort methods used in the preparation of the sample to be analyzed.
3   To be able to specify the principles for transporting, labeling and storing of chemicals.
4   To be able to sort the principles of safe operation in laboratories.
5   To be able to identify chemicals harmful to human health.
