Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach the basic concepts of environmental chemistry and to discuss the environmental issues.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to identify environmental pollution and types of environmental pollution.
2   To be able to specify the methods applied in the recycling of solid waste
3   To be able to identify air pollutants and methods for elimination of air pollutants.
4   To be able to explain mainly the physical, chemical and biological treatment processes in waste water treatment.
5   To be able to specify measures for the elimination of the noise pollution.
