Course Objective

To understand the stages of construction work of foundations.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to list the basic parameters of the soil.
2   To be able to find the soil bearing strength and the amount of settling of foundation.
3   To be able to explain the types and properties of foundations.
4   To be able to create temporary or permanent shoring and fortifications.
5   To be able to control the application of the foundation construction of the project.
