Course Objective

to determine the influence of Qur'an in social and cultural life;
to show Qur'an's reflections upon the art and culture;
to establish Islamic references in civil architecture.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students having this course will understand Islamic concept of art.
2   They will comprehend that Qur'an is one of the main instruments of our culture.
3   They will see the reflections of Calligraphy in the architecture.
4   They will recognize relation between Islam and esthetics.
5   They will be acquainted with the Islamic concept of art.
6   They will see the cultural content of Qur'an.
