Course Objective

Training enables the students to reinforce their skills gained within practical and theoritical textile and ,fashion design courses in real design,manufacture,managing and production processes,and also allows them to have experience unique situations in these processes and to direct their education.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   gain new experience, skills and improve their knowledge gained in textile and fashion design;printing/weaving/clothing/accesories design in practise.
2   define and analyze a designer's duty and responsibilities.
3   define and examine then textile printing/weaving/fashion/accesories design and production processes
4   define raw materials,assist materials,technology,machinery,tools and equipment that are being used in textile and fashion design; printing/weaving/clothing/accesories production processes.
5   write a report on knowledge,skills and observations during training.

Course Contents

1 Getting information about the name of the mill, date of the foundation,number of staff and how its organisation
2 Learning about the number of managers, designers, engineers, directors and their responsibilities
3 Learning about scheme of management organization, plan of machinery settlement and scheme of production flow
4 Gaining information about raw materials and assisting materials of the products
5 Gaining information about properties of machinery used in production and their technological aspescts
6 Doing practise suitable for related designing and production sections and preparing a report

Further Notes About Assessment Methods

All the related items about training such as training notebooks and files are presented to the training commitee. These notebooks and files are evaluated while presenting in presence of the jury and the training is graded as successful /unsuccesful.
1.Training notebook (Diary)
Training notebook must be considered as a kind of work diary and all necessay information must be written in it. It must include general activities done in the mill, production processes and individual designs, sketches etc. of the student. This notebook must be completed according to the instructions written in the training notebook.
2. Training evaluation report
It has 4 main sections such as introduction, description of the mill and its organisation and result. This report is prepared by the trainee using computer according to the instructions in the Training Evaluation Report found in the training file.
3. Training Enrollment
This paper will be filled by the official in the mill in which the trainee has worked. It will consist the evaluation of the official about the trainee s attitude, work and behaviors during training. This paper will be in the training file which the trainee get from the department before starting training. The trainee will give this paper to the official and get 2 copies in the sealed envelope at the end of the training and will submit this envelope to the training commitee.
