Course Objective

To teach textile ecology, concepts and ecological assessment criteria, properties of ecological and organic textiles, environmentally friendly clean production methods and technologies, current approaches/applications to ecological textile design, eco textile labels and certificates.

6 Ecological approaches to textile pretreatments and finishings
7 Ecological approaches to textile dyeing and printing
8 Environmentally friendly Technologies; ultrasound (US), enzymatic, plasma, ultraviolet (UV), microwave, ozon etc. treatments and their advantages
