Course Objective

This course aims to enable students to apply different models via basic patterns by analysing all underwear, outer wear and upper body cloth models

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to analyse the details of any clothing models,
2   Form the moulding of a model after the technical analysis,
3   Prepare the basic patterns according to the determined sizes,
4   To be able to perform model application via basic pattern,
5   To convert the patterns into templates by using the knowledge on seam allowance and ready-made clothing production
6   To explain the steps he / she taken for each models

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The grading will be according to the selection of clothing models from the visual and literary materials such as magazine and newspaper, students analysis of determined models, the preparation of the patterns for models, converting the patterns into templates.
