Course Objective |
The main purpose of this course is to supply the student with the fundamentals of EU- Türkiye relations, in terms of historical process, institutional framework and the main legal documents, with particular emphasis on the developments touching the EU-Türkiye business relations. For this purpose, firstly the institutional evolution of European Integration will be analysed along with the basic documents such as founding and amending treaties. Then the evolution of EU-Türkiye relations will be analysed, with particular reference to their impact on trade and business. |

1. Although the course is mainly based on lectures, around 20 % of each session is intended for class discussion, based on the lecture itself and assigned readings. Therefore, students are expected to be prepared for class participation at each session. |
