Course Objective

Increasing economic integration has been one of the major forces driving the world economy. The aim of this course is to focus on world trade in monopolistic competition, developing countries in world trade, regional integrations, global trade regimes, primary regions and countries in world trade, international raw material and product movements, trade-environment-development.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The learner will be able to design a country-based or regional trade analysis to compare various aspects of countries.
2   The learner will be able to document trade performance of major developed and developing countries for answering the future of world trade.
3   The learner will be able to acquire and debate the recent news on world trading by following the periodicals and journals to match theories with real world applications .
