Course Objective |
The aim of this course is to scan published main resources related to the Turkish communities in BC period; to prepare a theoretical and visual source related to their religion, lifestyle and art perception; to have the students learn the chronologic knowledge concerning art products of those communities by emphasizing Turkish cultural data produced throughout history before Islam. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
In this course the students will be canalised to main and supplementary sources in order to know Turkish Art in prehistoric ages. Furthermore, they are asked to read some related articles from scientific magazines, especially published in English, and these articles will be supported with new ideas in class discussions. The students will also be encouraged to make a presentation in a scientific meeting and will be asked to make a presentation at the same level in class. |

Further Notes About Assessment Methods |
The main evaluation criteria is made up of the students resource scanning after being guided to main sources and their presentation in the lesson. They are also evaluated by the answers they will be asked and their participation in the discussions after the lesson. Moreover, the creativity in their original designs and the originality will be taken into account. |
Assessment Criteria |
The mid-term, final and presentation will be evaluated out of 100, and the average will be out of 100. |

After the students are instructed with the theoretical knowledge, both orally and written, applications will be performed one to one. They are informed about the following lessons and expected to do pre-study. |
