Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach the students ceramics of diverse civilizations, their history, periodic and technical features, the ceramics produced in Near East and how to apply them.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   After the education given with this course, the students are supposed to
2   know the history of ceramics of different civilizations,
3   determine the periodic features of ceramics of different civilizations,
4   apply the ceramics of Near East cultures,
5   prepare a project and present it.

Learning and Teaching Strategies:
This course will be given theoretically and practical. Applications will focus on Seljuk ceramics and Tiles. The results will be discussed in class.
