Course Objective

First, we aim to teach the students the necessary methods to be able to determine the patterns, threads and compositions used in different Palace fabrics. And then, we expect the students to determine the pattern and composition characteristics used in Palace fabrics. Afterwards, we will try to have them weave their own designs on dobby weaving loom and jacquard loom by using threads of similar colours.
