Course Objective

The purpose of this course is that students learn basic molecular structure and functions about developmental biology and the role of genetic factors in development

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learning basic structure and functions of developmental biology
2   To become knowledgeable about the anatomic approach to developmental biology
3   Understanding the roles of genetic factors in developmental biology
4   Gain knowledge about the early development of invertabrates and some vertabrates
5   Gain knowledge about ectoderm, mesoderm, endoderm and tetrapot development
6   Gain knowledge about fertilization, sex determination and postembryonic development
7   To discuss the medical points of developmental biology
