Course Objective |
Knowing the structure of the gene, which is one of the basic building blocks of genetics, and using this information in all fields related to genes are of priority. For this reason, firstly, it is aimed to understand the structure and functioning of the gene. Afterwards, it is aimed to give basic information about the principles of the tests used for diagnostic purposes, why, where and how to use them in studies to be carried out on the gene. |

Assessment Criteria |
In order to be successful in the course, the average of the midterm (40% of the midterm) and final (60% of the final) grades must be at least 75 out of a hundred. |
