Course Objective |
The aim of this course is to realize an original miniature composition by researching by which materials and techniques the miniature applications are made as well as to which extent. The students are also expected to provide new suggestions on the material and techniques. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
The course will be conducted in a workshop discipline where the application is demonstrated one-on-one and the student can learn by watching the application techniques. The student's creativity in using application techniques and other materials in different ways; The clarity of the composition elements and symbols used to visually express the chosen subject will be observed. The visual bibliography and sketches that the student will create throughout the education period will also be taken into consideration. As a result of the studies carried out throughout the semester, the student will present a topic of his choice in an original composition and will be evaluated based on this presentation. |

This course will be conducted through %70 project, %30 homework. The course will be taught as 2 credits in theory and 2 credits in practice. The course will be conducted in a workshop discipline where the application is demonstrated one-on-one and the student can learn by watching the application techniques. The student's creativity in using application techniques and other materials in different ways; The clarity of the composition elements and symbols used to visually express the chosen subject will be observed. The project and homework presentation will be evaluated out of 100. |

Course Policies and Rules |
After the theoretical information is given both orally and written, the practical studies are done one to one with the students. The attendance is compulsory for the lesson in which a new technique will be introduced. The students will be informed about the following lesson and are supposed to make preliminary research on the subject. |
