Course Objective |
The aim is to have the students comprehend the methods and the techniques used for thread dyeing by practising; to fix the dyeing formulas applied in thread dyeing using traditional methods, and to try out dyeing practices. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
The aim is to supply maximum student attendance. In the first lesson, the 15-week program is introduced to the students. Besides books and articles scanning, the students learn how to obtain colours with natural dyeing materials by dyeing practices in laboratories. |

Further Notes About Assessment Methods |
Students will be given a mid-term and a final exam concerning the subjects given theoretical. They will also prepare an assignment. The pass grade will be determined by the assignment and the grades they get in the two exams. |
Assessment Criteria |
The midterm and preparing the laboratory notebook will be evaluated out of 100; the 30% of the midterm, and the 70% of preparing the laboratory notebook will determine the pass grade. The evaluation of the exam questions will be given to the students. |
