Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach the students Tile glazing, its features and preparation. Furthermore, new glazing trials, preparing paint and paint features, the chemical correlation between mud paint and glazing will be taught theoretically and practically.

1   learn the features of glazing and prepare tile glazing,
2   try out new glazing,
3   make artistic glazing,
4   prepare the paint and learn its features,
5   learn the correlation between mud paint and glazing.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

In this course, the subjects within the program will be taught theoretically and practically. Practices will generally be done as glazing tryouts. The results of glazing tryouts will be disputed in class.
