Course Objective

Students are provided information about the appearance of an artwork partition and pattern completion

3   Use the technology and scientific sources for documentation of tile restoration
4   Describe the kind of production and using material for tiles

5 Pasting and merging methods and materials
6 Filler and modeling methods
7 Stripping and pouring
8 Completing methods on restoration
9 Painting and retouching
10 Repairing glazed products and restoration of their 70 percent
11 Restoration of tiles
12 Preparations for the project of tile restoration

Further Notes About Assessment Methods

Students will be given a mid-term and a final exam concerning the subjects given theoretical. The pass grade will be determined by the midterm, final exam and restitution grades.

Assessment Criteria

Students' in-class work performances and their attendance, as well as the implementation of the given projects and the presentation of files, will be calculated over 100 full points.

Course Policies and Rules

It is forbidden to take for students who come after starting time of the course until an interval will be given. At the end of each lecture topics will be covered in the next lesson and the students are offered as a subject of their studies. The course begins before the first presentation of the studies.
