Course Objective

The aim of this course is to help the learners to critically analyze the academic literature and current developments in HRM. It also aims to provide learners with an insight into the current state of research in the field, with an ultimate objective of helping them develop their own research ideas to contribute to the HRM literature.

1   Gaining an understanding of various HRM functions and their roles in the overall business strategy.
2   Gaining knowledge of the fundamental and current literature in HRM.
3   Developing an understanding of research strategies employed in HRM.

4. Learners will apply their conceptual and methodological knowledge to problems faced in the HRM applications.
