Course Objective |
Since the beginning of the 1960s, textile art has begun to transform into a form of expression among modern arts. With the 1970s, the materials of other arts as well as the materials of arts such as painting, sculpture and ceramics began to be used together. In this course, the artistic works in which these techniques are used together will be handled especially through the textile arts and artists. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
Students will be given information about the process of changing the textile arts from applied arts to modern arts. Especially in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, the period between the fields of art was reduced. Thus, the art of textile art and mix media are provided to comprehend. In this context, material research and artistic work is expected. |
