Course Objective

This course aims to transfer of scientific ethics and work of the supervising faculty member to the students, providing the ability to follow current literature related to the thesis topic, to follow new developments, to evaluate and to discuss.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Ability to interpret, develop and use what has been acquired on textile and fashion design and on the issue of thesis
2   Feeling obliged to have knowledge and ability to access to knowledge
3   Ability to synthisize, analyse and interpret compiled knowledge concerning the thesis
4   Management of problems likely to appear in practice of thesis preparation
5   Presentation of what is scientific research in written and oral ways.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The lessons are held individually with each student. The advisor guides the students in every stage of the research and thesis and the lessons are based on discussion. The advisor expects students to be ready for every step of the research and have the ability to make decisions individually.

Study related to the thesis topic;It is evaluated according to the mastery of the subject, the harmony of the application work related to the thesis subject, the compliance of the thesis writting with the rules.
