Course Objective

Designing fabrics that support or constitute body form with the methods of producing three dimensional texture or styles by using weaving technique or other textile techniques. Examining the opportunities provided by the components of fabric production for three dimensional designs. Producing fabric designs and their applied works with the style in the process of design along with an innovative point of view by using the success values of those opportunities.

Assessment Criteria

Criticising and commenting on the subject matter by researching the literature. Reporting the theoretical information obtained through the research. Carrying out an applied work which meets expectations.

Course Policies and Rules

70% of the course attendance is mandatory.
Any plagiarism attempt will result in de facto disciplinary action.
Not attending the course will not be considered as a valid excuse for late submission of homework assignments and projects.
There will be a drop in points equivalent to a letter grade for each day of delay in delayed project deliveries.
