Course Objective

The course aims to supply the students with information on leather usage in fashion accessories, examining and analyzing contemporary fashion and accessory designers' leather accessory works and the students to design a unique collection of leather accessories and produce the pieces of the collection.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. As an out come of this course; the student is expected to have information on leather usage in fashion accessories design
2   2. To have knowledge on the leather accessories of contemporary fashion designers collections
3   3. To be able to design a unique leather accessories collection according to the information and analysis
4   4. To have ability to produce the pieces of the collection

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Leather usage in Fashion Accessories is taught and design and technical analysis of the practice samples are made.
Referring to these analysis, students are directed to designing a collection of their own and produce the items.
