Course Objective

It aims to provide skill to be able to design in line with the design criteria of
product design for fashion accessories, and to have knowledge about the procedure steps
from the traditional production to the technological production about the realization
of production within the scope of the mass production of the design product.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

1. The course is conducted with 2 projects (design + application) for one period.
2. The projects are arranged to develop the knowledge and skills of students on the subjects of design.
3. The process, schedule, application principles are located in the project explanation.
4. The project process is carried out as research, design and application.
5. The student presents the requirements within the scope of project at the end of each project. He/she conveys the project process verbally.

Assessment Criteria

It is based upon researching by means of implementing scientific methods, reaching to exact information, and compilation and design skill.

Course Policies and Rules

Any kinds of plagiarism attempts result in actual disciplinary punishment. The student is obliged to perform the project in line with the design principles and in accordance with the objective, process and schedule of the project. The student who successfully completes the project by having also attended to the course gets passing mark.
