Course Objective

Investigation of the ways in which cultural structures gain difference and originality in the structures of art and cinema works. Examining the mental and cultural commonalities of cultures and geographies and the ways in which their differences are reflected in their cinemas. Again, comparative consideration of the cultural sources of narrative structures, narrative forms and film aesthetics according to cultural variables.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1-Theoretical evaluation of the relationship between cultural structure and cinema
2   2-Investigating the effects, similarities and differences of cultural structures in cinema through some examples,
3   3- Evaluation of narrative structures according to cultural differences and cinema samples in different geographies,
4   4- Analysis of different cinematic aesthetics created by cultural structures through examples
5   5- Comparative analysis of Western and Eastern narrative and aesthetics on commonalities and differences
