To provide a sound foundatiın and a practical and workable understanding of how to evaluate financial decisions.

1   To be able to understand the goal of the organization, the agency problem and money and capital markets.
2   To understand the uses of finacial statements and how to analyze them.
3   To understand the time value od money and how to use it in capital budgeting decisions.
4   To be able to calculate cost of capital
5   To understand the capital structure and dividend poliy of a corporation.
