Course Objective

To understand the applications of sound operators in broadcasting, especially television broadcasts. The basic concepts of sound technology and the flow of sound signals. To be able to use sound control and parameters by knowing broadcast audio format and standards.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knowing the sound signal flow in broadcasting and the basic concepts in sound technology
2   Relation between audio and video in the case of signal flow
3   To use audio controls for visual purposes by recognizing common audio formats
4   Knowing and using the audio hardware used in broadcasting
5   Knowing digital audio technology
