Course Objective

Scenario Writing IV course has been opened as a common and theoretical lesson for all departments of Department of Film Design.
The aim, content and expected contribution to the students of this course is as follows:
Students taking this course are expected to
1. practise by the help of a shot scenario to have them implement what they have learnt in the first term,
2. have the skill to rewrite the scenario of a shot film,
3. practise a lot to reach a level of commenting and working on films and scenarios,
4. do realistic dialogue studies in scenario by means of dialogue writing studies,
5. practise a lot to understand the mentality and to realize a situation.



Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   have the skill to take part in original and individual production works that have been enhanced by aesthetic concepts such as story, composition, scenario after carrying out creative productions in their education,
2   have the skill to make up a visual story,
3   do an independent research, carry out a study having an objective viewpoint,
4   have the skill to make comparisons and have analytical thinking ability,
5   write the scenario of a film that they have watched, or determine, list and compare the differences between a scenario and a film.
