To gain familiarity with motion graphics techniques and to gain proficiency in said techniques.

1   To know the theoretical level of three-dimensional animation production methods
2   Able to do three-dimensional animation production techniques.

3 Introduction to whiteboard animation techniques

5 An overview of different methods of animating vector based images

7 An overview of miscellanous motion graphics samples and techniques
8 An overview of procedural animation techniques
9 An overview of animating to audio
10 Introduction to particle simulations: basic concepts and terminology
11 An overview of particle simulation techniques
12 Introduction to dynamics simulations: basic concepts and terminology
13 An overview of dynamics simulation techniques
14 A brief introduction to using 3D data in 2D animations

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Lectures cover different motion graphic techniques. Students are expected to complete in-class exercises, using said techniques.
