Course Objective

The aim of this course is to have the students gain detailed knowledge about the relations between Turkish cinema and art, ideology, state and culture.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   realize that it is impossible to produce films without knowing cinema history
2   learn that it is necessary to draw a correspondence between their country s history and cinema history
3   . realize that it is necessary to be a part of the resolution because individual responsibility is not based solely on production
4   . learn that they shouldn t ignore the facts of the setting where the films are set while analysing the films and that they should assess them correspondingly
5   gain watching films practice
