Course Objective

To teach the Notion and the development period of the Contemporary Textile Art and how the modern textile technology takes part in it . To give the knowledge of contemporary textile artists and their art work. To introduce the important activities and organizations of contemporary textile art in Turkey and through the world.

1   Leaarn the historical development of Contemporary Textile Ar
2   Llearn the placement of the convantional/traditional and modern textile technics in the contemporary textile art and how to use it
3   Recognize Contemporary Textile Artists and important art Works
4   Learn Important activities and organizations of national and international contemporary textile art
5   Understand and comment the contemporary textile artwork with traditional and modern textile technics.

1.Lessons
Instructor let the students to know the term of contemporary textile art , its development period , important artist organizations , the placement of textile technics in contemporary textile art by visiual assistance .
2. Reviewing forums / sessions and Class arguments/ discussions
Academician /educator tell reviewing methods in the lesson to control the preparation of the investigations within the scope of Contemporary Textile Art . Student present the wook literally and visiually on the date predetermined. Prepared investigation files are given .
