Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   will be able to define the characteristics of the suitable environment where pure tone audiometry will be performed.
2   Be able to apply pure tone audiometry.
3   Can determine the type and degree of hearing loss.
4   Can associate tuning fork tests with pure tone hearing test results
5   Defines masking application time, mask noise to be used, basic information and rules of masking in pure tone audiometry.
